Wow, I've never even heard of a car with that nose. Price aside, pretty cool.

On a different note, your username amuses me because it took me a couple months of having a “twin power turbo” N55 to realize it wasn’t technically actually a twin-turbo.

Woodhouse went from detailing a Challenger to owning his own car dealership!

Lol that’s basically what Michael Jordan is trying to sell his mansion for in chicago

...ok so not really but considering he’s cut the price of his mansion in half and it’s still not selling its only a matter of time before it’ll drop to used porsche money haha

I wanna see some really rich guy buy this for shiggles and watch the price of 911s skyrocket massively.

Looks too much like a 968 with the slant-nose conversion...the headlights on the 993 are already low-profile enough.

I’ll take a 993 RS 3.8 instead and save myself half a mil....

It will take you back to 1994. So 1m for a time machine is not bad.

I’m glad you understood it. It’s a really confusing naming scheme on BMW’s part.

975k!! Our dealership has a ‘94 Turbo with 5,000 miles on it and I don’t think it appraised for a million! That being said what a beautiful car.

I will say right off the bat that it is a crack pipe.

I can see the difficulty they’re having with price though. This is one of the most collectible Porsches sold between the late 70’s and present day and definitely the most sought after Turbo. Also on that short list is the Carrera GT, and they’re going for a million. They made 1270 CGTs, and 76 of these. Want the most powerful RWD Turbo ever? Want the last old school 911 Turbo?

Also adding to the confusion is the lack of precedent as these show up very rarely.

In this stratosphere though, the details can make all the difference. If top value for an ‘S’ is say...$600K, this falls a little short. Guards Red must be worth $100K. A Japanese market ‘S’ must be worth another $100K. Somewhere around $400K would be a fair price to start negotiations. That’s what I’m going to tell them when I call. :-)x

The 993 pretty much Flachbau’d the 911 and all Porsche sports cars.

Also to consider is that a 993 turbo was a ~$100k car in the dealership. The CGT’s were almost $500k out the door.

Regardless, the ‘value’ of the 993 has gone crazy in the last four years.

Kinja'd!!!1

This is a 964. ;-)x. Values for these have yet to go crazy like the 993. The only reason the price is as high as it is, is because of the ‘S’.

But I know what you’re saying.

Holy Schmoley...the slant nose totally threw me. But I should have known from the front bumper and side body panels. And yes, pricing is still wacky.
